Venue: Brigg town centre
Capacity: 750 ALL SOLD OUT
Distance: 10km fully licensed UKA road run & military challenge
Start time: 09:30 & 09:45 (military challenge sets off first)
We had an amazing sell out event in 2018 and are happy to be back with the Poppy team hosting in 2019 with a few more entries available :)
A great PB potential 10k course or a challenging 10k military challenge- and all the while supporting the Poppy Appeal!
We sold out last year in four weeks so please don't leave it too late!
You can choose to add in a bespoke event t-shirt for £10. T-shirt profits go to the Poppy Appeal.
All finishers get a fantastically designed finishers medal and of course, cake!
You can also add in your poppy pin badge to collect on the day for £2 and 100% of the costs goes to the appeal.
For those of you who haven't run this race before, it consists of two events. The 'normal' race and the Military Challenge. The Military Challenge sees the competitor wearing boots and carrying a backpack weighing 36lbs (16.3 kgs) for men and 24lbs (10.9 kgs) for women.
There is no requirement to run the course! Walking or 'TABBING' is more than acceptable.
We are asking that anyone entering the Military Challenge aims to raise £100 in sponsorship for the Poppy Appeal.
See you soon
The information pack is full of information (odd that!) so have a read through :)
2019 medal design is shown above :) ... of course it's all themed around supporting the Royal British Legion and the Poppy Appeal.
Simply add a t-shirt when you enter. If you have entered but would like to add one, then you can log in and amend your entry here. T-shirt profits go to the Royal British Legion... and look awesome!
We will have very limited spare t-shirts on the day for sale, you can also add a pin badge to your entry and 100% of that revenue goes to support the charity :)
"Encourage" your friends, family and work colleagues to sponsor your endeavours :)
Simply visit the just giving page here and create your own event.
We will also prompt you when you sign up for the event :)
Or you can add an event t-shirt and/or a pin badge with profits going to the Poppy Appeal.
