The normanby hall adventure race!

Distance: 5km (new!) and 10km wave

5km - £22.50 (ages 12 and up) 

10km - £24.50 (ages 16 and up) 

Do both! - £41 to do it twice (entries includes a special trophy limited to 50 spots!)

All entry prices also include your entry into the park for the day

We're back and it's our 11th year! We can't wait to welcome you once again to the fantastic Normanby Hall Adventure Race 2026 :)

NEW FOR 2026 WE HAVE A 5KM OPTION!!! 

The events take place over around our cross country horse course, with water / mud / sand / crawl nets and jumps... a few cheeky little hills and maybe a swamp! . Designed for ponies conquered by athletes :) 

How the course is, all depends on the weather before the big day, plus how our Pony friends have the course laid out... and we've had some very very fun years!

Everyone gets a cake and a medal, but you choose if you want to add a funky event t-shirt. These are specially designed with a theme for each event and every year is different. 

Profits from our clothing sales go to supporting free spots for our charity partners, direct donations or support our free coaching sessions or hiring communities venues to offer back to the running community :) 

Whether you're in it for the challenge and chasing times, positions or pb's or if you're doing it just for fun with friends, it's the perfect fun filled running adventure :)

The Waves! 

• 5km Wave, 09:30 **NEW for 2026**Great fun and taking in a single loop of the main adventure race course (with a spot of tweaking!) This is open to everyone ages 12 and over, and were really happy to be included it for the first time in 2026 as we know we had a lot of people asking for this! 

• 10km Wave, 10:45 It's time for the 'classic' adventure race distance... two laps of our lovely course which also means you get to visit our on course 'spa treatment facility' twice ;) 

• Do it twice! Yup we're still doing this! ... You'll set off in the 5km wave and then again in the 10k wave.You have one hour fifteen minute to get your first 5km done, to make sure you're back in time to go out again!  We've removed the t-shirts for 2026, dropped the price but you still get a unique trophy recognising your performance! 

• Juniors ... we're so looking forward to welcoming back our bale jumpers :) A mini Bale Jumper run down at the hall, it's a just for fun mini adventure and al the juniors get a medal and sweets at the finish, it's designed for 4-11 year olds :) and we DO NOT HAVE ANY ENTRIES ON THE DAY! (like all our events)
