The 'SAMARITANS' normanby hall adventure race!

Capacity: 800

Distance: 10km (ish!) obstacle run 

Price: £23.50 or £43 to do it twice (do it twice entries includes an event top & trophy but limited to 50 spots!) 

Times: open wave 10:00 / team wave 12:00 / junior fun run 09:30

We're back and it's our 10th birthday! We can't wait to welcome you to the fantastic Normanby Hall Adventure Race 2025 ... for those that joined us in 2024's 'exceptionally wet edition' - well done and how much fun was that :)

Our 2025 event and charity partner was The Scunthorpe Samaritans team, they joined us for plenty of fun on the day! 

We're here to help spread awareness about the incredible work they do.

The event takes place over around 10kms of cross country horse course with water / mud / sand / crawl nets and jumps... lots and lots of jumps (a few cheeky little hills and a swamp!) . Designed for ponies conquered by athletes :) 

Everyone gets a cake and a medal, but you choose if you want to add a funky event t-shirt. These are specially designed with a theme for each event and every year is different. 

Profits from our clothing sales go to supporting free spots for our charity partners, direct donations or support our free coaching sessions or hiring communities venues to offer back to the running community :) WE STILL HAVE T SHIRTS AVAILABLE TO BUY BEFORE RACE DAY - GET YOURS HERE! 

Whether you're in it for the challenge and chasing times, positions or pb's or if you're doing it just for fun with friends, it's the perfect fun filled running adventure :)

How our waves work! 

ps: BOTH WAVES ARE OPEN TO ALL

• Open wave! 10:00 Perfect for solo runners, pairs or those looking to 'race' the event. This allows you to test yourself, provides a clearer 'less messy' course!

• Team wave! 12:00 It's time for the real fun to begin ... perfect for those pairs and groups out for fun! ... take your time or race, entirely up to you. We also welcome any solo runners wanting to join in the fun. 

• Do it twice! Yup we're still doing this! ... You'll set off at 10:00 and then again at 12:00. We recommend you can complete a normal 10k in around 90 minutes, that way for this event you will be back in for 12:00 and your second wave!) 

• Juniors ... we're so looking forward to welcoming back our bale jumpers :) A mini Bale Jumper run down at the hall, it's a just for fun mini adventure and al the juniors get a medal and sweets at the finish, it's designed for 4-11 year olds :)  and we DO NOT HAVE ANY ENTRIES ON THE DAY! (like all our events)
